Daily Deliveries of Hollins University Library Materials to Fintel Library
1. Is it true that if I place a request for a Hollins library item, it will arrive on the same day?
Any available item that you request from Hollins before 10:30 am, Monday through Friday, will be here the same day by 2:00 pm. Items requested over the weekend should arrive the next day that the Library is open. If an item is checked out at the time that you place your request, the system will route it to us for your use when it is returned. Please see the link to our online catalog for details on how to place requests. Note that some item types are not requestable from Hollins, namely, items in special collections, reference, and other selected items.
2. Will I get an email reminder when my Hollins items have arrived? Where do I pick them up?
You will receive an automated email as soon as your items arrive. The items can be picked up at the Lending Services Desk any time during open hours and the due dates for the materials will be the same as any Fintel Library materials you check out on that day.
