Fintel Library offers information about and can facilitate services provided via the "Talking Book Program" at the Melrose Branch of the Roanoke City Library", 2607 Salem Turnpike, (853-2648). This program is funded by the federal government and administered through the State of Virginia. One can identify audiobooks that are available at the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped.
Roanoke College + Hollins Universities Libraries own over 800 closed-captioned videos and DVDs. To locate the titles, go to DISCOVER FINTEL - use the Browse Tab and enter: "video recordings for the hearing impaired" [selecting: Subject Browse]
